Inside My 50th Birthday Celebration

The art of celebration in all forms can lift the human spirit, bring honor and tribute for a job well done, gather like minded people around a cause or mark a milestone in one’s life. As you know I am a huge celebrator. I make a special effort to celebrate all wins, birthdays and major moments in the lives of my inner circle. The more you celebrate life, the more enjoyable you will find that it is.

Celebrating life also will help you stay grateful for how far you’ve come, what you already have and what you have to look forward to. I’m so grateful that my family and my team choose to celebrate with me in such a grand yet intimate setting for my 50th birthday.  It was certainly a momentous occasion, as I was surrounded by family, friends, clients and loved ones. We laughed, we cried and then we danced all night into the wee hours of the morning.

From the decor to the tributes I was (and still am) overwhelmed with joy and gratitude. Having looked back over my life at all I’ve accomplished, the people who’ve inspired me, defining moments that have made me who I am just made the night even more special.

There were so many major moments leading up to the special night, here’s my recount of my very special 50th Birthday celebration.

It was a whirlwind of a week! It started off with a very special trip to New York as I was invited to attend a special luncheon honoring 50 women over 50, who are at the #perfectage in life right now. This event took place at the Hearst Tower in New York City, just days before my 50th birthday.

The experience felt like the best welcoming party to this new phase in life. To begin my birthday week festivities in a room full of women who have lived life on their own terms, breaking barriers, defying the odds and making an impact was exhilarating. (more about the luncheon here)

Then I jetted back to Florida to begin welcoming friends and family who were flying in for the occasion. Meanwhile, at party head quarters, team Stacia was in full preparation mode to make sure every detail was in order.

I love adding a pinch of branding magic to every celebration. It points the attention on theme of the day and helps keep your brand on the minds of your audience.  If you host a celebration for someone it’s always good to keep the name, picture and theme of the event visible throughout the decor.  This makes your honoree feel special and keeps your guests focused on why they’ve gathered.

Details add love, warmth and an air of excellence whether it’s a corporate party, birthday celebration or a special tribute. Little details show how much you care.  I was so happy with the decor and all the special little touches.  A favorite with everyone was the deliciously refreshing mocktail bar with signature drinks in my honor.  Upon arrival and right past the Paparazzi, we quenched our thirst with Stacia-Tinis, Money Mimosas, Stacia-Ritas and Pink Lady Stacias.

It was truly a night to remember- the tributes were amazing. I heard from several of my coaching clients and some of the ladies who I’ve mentored over the years. Two spiritual leaders, which I respect greatly, spoke prophetically about my next phase in life and business. I found this part of the night incredibly over the top—it’s awesome to break into this new phase of life with sound revelation that witnesses to you.

My heart was full as I heard words from my family. Both my children Ariana and Ryan were so well-spoken and loving in their presentation that I couldn’t hold back my “proud momma tears.” My husband is my rock and greatest supporter.  I love him to the moon and back and so appreciate everything he did to make this night special.

Whenever I have guests, I want them to leave my presence with gifts that empower them to attract more success. So, the party favors and gifts for my guests came in layers. I love to enjoy life, be productive and set my intentions for success; so I gave parting gifts to my guests that helped to make me to flourish in those areas.

Every day I use tech tools to help me be more productive. So the gift bags were filled with blue tooth speakers for guests to listen to their audio programs, courses and music with ease as they’re getting things done. The phone stands come in handy to keep things steady when doing a live stream, watching a video tutorial or simply enjoy a movie during your downtime. The success pouch, filled with my Goal Cards, stickies and Ariana’s Travel Goal cards were given to guests to encourage them to set grand goals for life and travel. The Stickies were given to help guests post daily reminders of the their dreams and goals, then affirm their intentions out loud.

The commemorative book is one of my favorite keepsakes as it highlighted 50 of my greatest achievements so far and also shared warmed greetings from friends, family and many of my Success Mastery coaching clients.

My wonderful family is my why; the reason I do all that I do. I’m so happy that they were present in full force to celebrate with me.

My mom had a grand time taking up residence at the photo booth and dancing the night away. It was amazing having so many of my clients, friends and family in one place.  The room was charged with love and admiration and I am truly grateful!

After enjoying an incredible mini documentary of my life created by SLJ film production company along with several amazing video tributes from some very special people in my life, it was now time to laugh and have fun. Illusionist Dewayne Hill captured our attention with his slight of hand.  Comedian Akintunde Warnock had us in stitches for the rest of the evening.

Guests lingered in the lobby before retiring for the night, enjoying the decedent ice cream dessert bar complete with beautifully delicious toppings.

All and all I had an incredible time during my birthday celebration and I am so thankful for all my friends, family and clients who traveled the country to be there.  It’s a true blessing to have an entire tribe of people who will show up simply to celebrate your wins and I don’t take that lightly! I know everyone wasn’t able to be there, so the party continues on at the Women’s Success Conference in July!  It’s also our 20th Anniversary for the conference so it’s going to be an incredible three days.  Ariana and I are going to share our secrets with you on how to manifest your dream life.  What’s one thing in your heart that you really want to see manifested this year?  I want to hear about it, please let me know in the comments below.
